Syobulala uVan Damme hitmaker Sthembiso Fakude famously known as Mroza was reported to be missing last week by friends and family when they couldn’t reach him via all his phones and haven’t heard from him in two days time.
The Maskandi star disappeared in Soweto and was found in Carltonville naked. His uncle, Moso Fakude, told Sowetan Live that they had become worried when his girlfriend called to check if he had arrived home safely after abruptly leaving Joburg.
“He told his girlfriend two days after arriving in Joburg that he wanted to go back home and did not elaborate why. She said his phones were off. We started panicking. We went to Joburg and opened a missing person’s report and reported his car stolen, ” Said Moso.
When they found him they said he was busy wandering in someone else’s yard like a lunatic. The uncle went on to say that Sthembiso was being chased down by a group of people and further expressed that they don’t have enough details at the moment but fortunately Mroza was unharmed physically.
“We don’t know at this stage what happened and we are cautious. We don’t want him to feel pressured into explaining what happened,” added the Uncle.
Mroza claimed that there were men who wanted him dead and were threatening him via SMSs. He said that after he won the Metro FM Song of the Year Award his life had become difficult.
Police spokesman Sergeant Vincent Mashiteng confirmed the news of his disappearance.
