DJ Sbu and US radio host Charlemagne have finally put an end to their beef which occured last year starting with Sbu blasting at the radio host for calling Cassper some African rapper.
Sbu challenged the entire Breakfast Club to invite Cassper to the show. The show took up the challenge and invited the Tito Mboweni hitmaker to the show. The interview was a great success, Cassper spoke about Hip Hop in Africa, his experiences as a rapper in SA, he gave the hosts and audiences a different idea from what they perceived and thought of South Africa as a country and it’s hip hop music.
This is the video where Sbu addressing Charlemagne about his statement where he called Cassper an African Rapper
As usual the two gave it to each other on twitter and on radio since they both work on the platform. The beef went on for quite some time, it is only now that the two have settled down and called it truce. Sbu flew to the US and joined the host on the station as evidence of the end of their conflict.
