Must Watch! Sho Madjozi Wins Yet Another Major Award At The BET – Sho Madjozi has just made South Africa proud and made this Monday a glorious one.
We are celebrating with the star following bagging another one, she won the Best New International Act at the reputable 2019 BET Award in Los Angeles.
She is a force to be reckoned with, she first bagged awards in Mzansi, walked away with the newcomer of the year and female artist of the year awards at the South African Music Awards (Sama) earlier this month. Now, she went ahead to represent us as Africans. She was up against artists such as Teniola Apata from Nigeria, Headie One and Octavian from the UK, and France’s Jokair and Nesly.
Sho Madjozi has left footprints as the first female in South African to walk away with a BET.
The amazing part is that in her acceptance speech, she never forgot where she comes from, her humble beginning from Limpopo has paved the way.
“My story is testament that you can come from any village, in any forgotten part of the world, and still be a superstar. For girls that come from where I am from, which is Limpopo, I just want to say that you don’t need to change who you are, you can still be big,” an emotional Sho said.
