Musician, Kelly Khumalo, found humour in Minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula’s commentary that gives an alternative to alcohol consumers, suggesting they must gulp vinegar if one is hankering alcohol amid the national lockdown.
Kelly Khumalo took to social media to respond on Tuesday, 31 March 2020, to the Minister of Transport, Fikile Mbalula’s proposition of dealing with the alcohol ban for the duration of the 21-day lockdown.
Kelly was transparently humoured, due to the fact that the vinegar also plays as part of the symbol in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. He was given vinegar instead of water when he cried out to be thirsty. The minister’s tweet was induced by a various petition from locals for the government to re-visit the alcohol regulations.
